~Wiroko~

16.1H KWPN (Dutch) Gelding

Wiroko is a 2003 KWPN gelding out of Diva, (a 16.2 hand grey Westfalen mare by the Grand Prix dressage stallion Diamant (Damhirsh-Duft) and he is by the KWPN Grand Prix jumper stallion Iroko (Pilot-Pilatus).

Iroko (his sire) has been made a KEUR stallion. He is now one of only four stallions to EVER stand in the US with this prestigious title. He now joins the ranks of such greats as Roemer, Zeoliet and Contango.

For more information and pictures of Iroko click HERE

Wiroko has a lovely kind and quiet temperament with no vices.  He walks, trots and canters (with natural lead changes) like a pro and  has been LIGHTLY started over fences and already shows amazing talent (as he should with a Grand Prix jumper sire!)!! Wiroko has already hacked around at some rated shows as well and acted like he had been there a million times!! Get this gelding and finish him out yourself before his price goes WAY up with more miles!!

*UPDATE*Wiroko has been evaluated for 45 days with a Grand Prix jumper rider/trainer, the trainer's comments about him was that "he had enough scope and talent for the Jumpers but could be a  hunter riders dream with his lovely movement and temperament". Wiroko is also doing well in dressage training under the supervision of a Grand Prix dressage trainer who thinks he has upper level potential (although I think jumping is where his heart is!!)  Great brain. Extremely quiet. Flat kneed mover that is easy to sit. Near perfect conformation! Great equitation prospect. The skys the limit for this guy!!!

Congrats Michele in Pennsylvania!!~

Pictures below taken of Wiroko in January 2007 after less than 10 rides, at his very FIRST show AND first time EVER jumping!! As you can see, he felt right at home and was very comfortable with all the commotion.

Click HERE for a video of Wiroko jumping his first course (keep in mind he only had about 60 days under saddle and was still VERY green!)
