Print Name (Hereafter known as “The Client”

Hereby request a reservation to breed the Mare named herein to the Section B Welsh Stallion G.P. Kupids Kaper, standing at Ocala Sport Horse in Ocala, Florida. By signing this contract I agree to the following terms of this Contract:

1. “The Client” agrees to pay a NON-REFUNDABLE BOOKING FEE OF $100 to Samantha Christman to be sent in and due with this contract. An INTRODUCTORY breeding fee of $450, mare care at the rate of $12 per day and ALL expenses and fees associated with artificial insemination OR semen being shipped will also be due PRIOR to mare being bred, artificially inseminated OR semen being shipped from above named Stallion. The booking fee, breeding fee and ALL other appropriate expenses shall be paid to Samantha Christman PRIOR to mare being picked up from Ocala Sport Horse by “The Client”.

2. “The Client” represents and warrants that said Mare being bred is healthy and in sound breeding condition. If registered, a photocopy of the Mare’s registration papers (showing both sides) MUST be furnished and returned with this contract.

3. “The Client” agrees to have said Mare current on worming, vaccines and agrees to provide a photocopy of a CURRENT (within 30 days) clean uterine culture before mare will be inseminated.

4. All reasonable efforts will be made to “settle” Mare between the date of February 1^st and October 15^th of Contract year. Should the mare fail to conceive on or before October 15^th, Ocala Sport Horse/Samantha Christman will be under no further obligation to continue to breed Mare or ship semen that year. Owner of Mare may opt to substitute another Mare OR rebreed the said Mare the following year with the same terms and conditions of this contract.

5. If the Mare does not settle or does not produce a “live foal” (one that stands and nurses), “The Client” shall be entitled to rebreed said Mare the following year on the same terms and conditions provided within this contract. A NEW booking fee, collection fees, mare care, and any other related expenses will be the responsibility of Mare owner for this “rebreed” but NO breeding fee will be due. This obligation by Ocala Sport Horse to re-breed will apply ONLY if “the Client” notifies Ocala Sport Horse/Samantha Christman in writing within seven (7) days from the birth of a stillborn foal or within sixty (60) days of a miscarriage. A statement must accompany this notice from a licensed Veterinarian verifying such facts. It is agreed upon that this provision will be of no further effect if Mare is taken to any other Stallion before returning to G.P. Kupids Kaper. If “the Client” fails to desire a re-breeding the following year, any and all fees paid will be forfeited. The right to re-breed under this contract is thereby cancelled and Ocala Sport Horse/Samantha Christman is released from any and all further obligation.

6. If G.P. Kupids Kaper should die or become unfit for service before the below described Mare conceived, Ocala Sport Horse/Samantha Christman shall offer a refund of the BREEDING FEE only within three (3) months. Under no circumstances other than stated above shall the breeding fee be refunded.

7. Ocala Sport Horse/Samantha Christman reserves the right to refuse to breed ANY Mare for ANY reason. Should this occur, any Stallion service fees will be refunded, minus collection fees and booking fee.

8. A Breeder’s Certificate will be issued to “the Client” for a foal when all fees have been received and PAID IN FULL.

9. “The Client” certifies that he/she is the Legal Owner of the said Mare or has FULL Authority to enter into this Contract on behalf of the Owner(s).

10. When Ocala Sport Horse, by it’s Authorized Representative receives this Contract, it will become the binding agreement between both parties. This Contract is not transferable or assignable without permission from Ocala Sport Horse/Samantha Christman. This Contract is entered into in the State of Florida.

11. All orders for semen MUST be made before 12 Noon (EST) one day PRIOR to the semen being needed for insemination (collection day). Orders are made by calling 352-598-0770 and leaving a voice message. A representative from Ocala Sport Horse will return your call to verify that the message was received.

12. Collection days are Monday thru Friday, excluding Holidays. Weekend collections are possible with an additional collection fee of $50, any and ALL additional shipping charges will be billed to “the Client” and will be required to be PAID IN FULL before Breeder’s Certificate will be provided for resulting foal to be inspected or registered.

13. Collection and shipping fees are a flat rate of $300 per occurrence, anywhere in the continental United States. Fees for on site collection and insemination will be determined at the time of service. For shipping outside of the United States, a flat rate of $150 PLUS the actual cost of shipping is due. The actual cost of shipping will be paid for by use of the clients Fed-Ex number ONLY!
